Welcome to Paper Moon—Troy’s indie hub for rare books, underground zines, and the kind of magazines you won’t find anywhere else. Founded in 2024 by musician-turned-bookseller Joshua Gruft, we’re a love letter to print culture, with a soundtrack spun by DJ Mercy (that’s Joshua) and shelves packed with everything from punk poetry to vintage comics.
But we’re not just a shop. We’re a living space—where jazz improv nights collide with poetry readings, local artists show their work, and where Troy’s creative weirdos find a home.
